CARNEADES LEGAL is an independent law firm in Hamburgs City North with a focus on plant engineering, real estate, energy and infrastructure.

Our clients include large international energy companies, government institutions and small and medium-sized enterprises. We offer them advice that goes beyond legal issues and takes into account a wide variety of interfaces from technical, commercial and planning aspects. We are a strong team of lawyers with in-depth experience in international law firms and companies in various industries.

To expand and strengthen our team, we are looking for a:

Lawyer / Associate (m/f/d) Energy Law and/or Plant Engineering

Your new challenge:

Support in providing comprehensive legal advice in the areas of plant construction and energy law (offshore wind, building construction, infrastructure), i.e. project developments, construction projects, transactions, leasing, asset management and joint ventures

Drafting and negotiation of contracts, claims for supplements and processing of other contract-relevant documents in German and English

Collaboration on demanding international projects and issues with high complexity

Support in out-of-court and judicial dispute resolution

What to bring:

Ideally, you have already been able to gain one to three years of professional experience in a commercial law firm or a company, or

You have completed your studies in law with above-average exams

You have a strong interest in the areas of plant construction and/or energy law

Entrepreneurial thinking and an understanding of the economy as a whole are important to you

High level of initiative, independent way of working, communicative skills and confident appearance

Very good MS Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)

Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken, round off your profile
