CARNEADES LEGAL is an independent law firm in Hamburgs City North with a focus on plant engineering, real estate, energy and infrastructure.

Our clients include large international energy companies, government institutions and small and medium-sized enterprises. To expand and strengthen our team, we are looking for a:

Senior Associate (m/f/d)

Your new challenge:

Comprehensive legal advice in the context of large national and international energy and infrastructure projects in the areas of plant construction (offshore wind, building and shipbuilding, infrastructure) as well as in energy and real estate law, i.e. project developments, construction projects, transactions, letting, structuring of real estate investments, asset management and joint ventures

Preparation, processing and revision of contracts, supplementary claims and other contract-relevant documents in German and English

Demanding international projects and issues with high complexity

What to bring:

You are a fully qualified lawyer with at least five years of professional experience in a law firm or as an in-house lawyer in a commercial enterprise

Relevant knowledge of public and private construction law

Sound knowledge of (international) plant construction law is an advantage

Extensive experience in the field of negotiation and litigation representation

High level of initiative, independent way of working, communicative skills and confident appearance

Entrepreneurial thinking and an understanding of the economy are important to you

Very good MS Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)

Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken, round off your profile
