We are seeking research assistants (wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiter) (m/f/d) to join our Public Business Law practice at our Düsseldorf office.

Our team ranks among the leading practices in Germany, and advises and represents companies, public authorities and associations in Germany and abroad across the full breadth of the field.

That includes:

Energy industry law

Regulatory

Public building and planning law

Environmental law

European law

Constitutional law

Privatisations and public-private partnerships

State aid and subsidies law

Foreign trade and customs law

Your role

Youll work closely with our lawyers and assist on ongoing client work. Youll conduct legal research, analyse legal issues and present your findings in a clear and structured format. Youll also contribute to drafting, reviewing and revising pleadings, contracts and other legal documents, as well as – depending on your practice area – academic publications.

You can start at any time – during your university studies, your doctorate, or while completing your practical legal training.

Your profile

First (or first and second) state examination(s), each with a grade of fully satisfactory (vollbefriedigend) or better

Very good command of English

Interest in business-related issues and challenging work

Enthusiasm for applying innovative technologies in the legal profession
