We are seeking associates (Rechtsanwälte) (m/f/d) to join our M&A and Corporate practices China team at our offices across Germany.

Your role

Your future role will include providing comprehensive advice to our Asian clients, particularly from China, on M&A transactions and corporate law as well as assisting German companies with their activities in Asia. Gleiss Lutz has advised on a large number of transactions involving Chinese parties in recent years and has established a strong reputation as a leading law firm for Chinese investors in Germany.

Sunshine Lake Pharma on its listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and privatisation of YiChang HEC

CAC Nantong Chemical on its acquisition of HELM AGs European chemical plant protection portfolio

ruhlamat on the sale of its Chinese business to private equity investor CenturiumCapital

Centre Testing International on its acquisition of imat-uve

Your profile

State examinations with grades of fully satisfactory (vollbefriedigend) or better

Ideally, relevant experience in M&A and Corporate Law

Business-fluent English, preferably acquired abroad

Additional qualifications such as an LL.M. or doctorate welcome

Strategic thinker with a proactive approach, a focus on solutions, dedication, team spirit and a strong sense of responsibility
